LOAN EQUIPMENT

As a result of an EKU Foundation grant, several equipment items are available on a loan basis.  These items include:

Portable Audio Recording Kits

• MP3 recorder for producing PODCASTS (small, portable recorders with internal microphone for use in recording audio, especially lectures.  Auxiliary microphone available)
• Wired Lavaliere Microphone for use with the MP3 recorder.

Laptop Computers

• Dell laptops for producing and editing audio materials for distribution by PowerPoint or as Podcasts using the audio editing software AUDACITY.
• Wireless microphones for recording directly to the computer.
• Use for producing visual materials using screen capture software CAMTASIA.

To reserve a loan, contact Becca Palmer, 622-1656 or come to Library 112.  Loans are normally for 3 days unless otherwise requested.

Personal Instruction for using Recording Kits, Audacity and Camtasia software is available upon request.
