Distance Learning Academy Showcase
The focus of the 2009-2010 Distance Learning Academy (DLA) is on Designing Quality Instructional Products that Support the Development of Student Critical Thinking and Communication Skills Online.  Over 15 online instructional products that were designed using the Paul and Elder Model to support the development of student critical thinking skills will be on display at this year’s showcase.  During the showcase, visitors will be able to review innovative instructional uses of video, audio and software including Softchalk, iSpring Pro, SnapX Pro, Power Point and Camtasia.  In addition, Rationale, new software that is used to develop reasoning and thinking skills, will be displayed as well.  A select number of DLA faculty member participants will be present at the showcase for informal conversations about their course sites and their instructional products.  Luncheon items will be available.
